Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 11, 2026 · Operated by Rekoup LLC
1. Who we are
Rekoup("we", "us") is a revenue-recovery service operated by Rekoup LLC. We help TikTok Shop sellers identify and recover money owed to them by the platform — such as unreimbursed lost inventory, incorrect refunds, and fee errors. This policy describes what data we collect, why, and how we handle it.
2. Data we collect
Account information you give us. Your name, email address, shop name, and — if you become a paying customer — billing details, which are collected and stored by our payment processor (Stripe); we do not store full card numbers on our systems.
TikTok Shop data you authorize.When you connect your shop, you grant us read-only API access through TikTok's official authorization flow. We retrieve and store the records needed to reconcile your account: order records (amounts, statuses, timestamps, shipment tracking identifiers), payout statements and settlement line items, return and refund records, and fulfillment warehouse inventory events. We do not collect or store your buyers' names, delivery addresses, contact details, or payment information, and we do not access your product listings, pricing controls, or seller balance.
Access credentials. The OAuth access and refresh tokens TikTok issues when you authorize us. These are stored server-side and are never exposed in the browser.
Usage data. Standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) used for security and to operate the service.
3. How we use your data
- To reconcile your shop's records and identify money the platform owes you;
- To prepare, file, and track reimbursement claims on your behalf;
- To verify recoveries in your settlement feed and calculate our contingency fee (15% of verified recoveries);
- To communicate with you about findings, claims, and your account;
- To improve our claim-detection models using aggregated claim-outcome data. Where such data informs our models, it is not used in any form that identifies you or your shop to third parties.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. Ever.
4. Who we share data with
- TikTok Shop— when filing claims on your behalf, we submit the relevant order, settlement, and logistics records (which originate from TikTok's own systems);
- Service providers— cloud hosting and database providers that store our systems' data, and Stripe for payment processing, each bound by their own security and confidentiality obligations;
- Legal requirements — if required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights.
5. Data retention and deletion
We retain your shop data while your account is active and for up to 90 days after disconnection, so that in-flight claims can be resolved and recoveries verified. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing support@rekoup.pro; we will delete it within 30 days, except records we are legally required to keep (e.g. billing and tax records) and records needed to resolve active disputes.
Disconnecting is always available: you can revoke our API authorization in TikTok Seller Center at any time, which immediately ends our access to your shop data.
6. Security
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS). API credentials and access tokens are stored server-side with access restricted to the systems that need them. Our TikTok API access is read-only by design: we call only data-retrieval endpoints and cannot modify your orders, listings, refunds, or balance.
7. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may disconnect your shop at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law (such as the CCPA for California residents). To exercise any right, contact support@rekoup.pro.
8. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will notify you by email and update the effective date above. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
